Job Title: Freight Brokerage Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Freight Brokerage Intern to join our team and assist with various tasks related to our brokerage operations. This is a remote internship, and the candidate will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Assist in negotiating rates and contracts with carriers to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and track freight movement to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Utilize industry knowledge and market data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both shippers and carriers.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with transportation management software is a plus.
